Port Austin Launch and Parking Lot Closed in 2010. Offshore Challenge Cancelled.

The Port Austin launch and parking lot will be closed from June 2, 2010 until October, 2010. As part of their renovation, they will be repaving the launch ramp and parking areas. The Docks and Gas pumps will remain open during this work.

The Offshore Challenge fishing tournament has been cancelled for 2010.

Grindstone Launch will be closed in 2011

More paving work will be conducted at Grindston the following year in 2011. Although dates are not firm yet, expect Grindston launch to be closed much of next year.
